Surface Preparation & Application
Exterior preparation is where economical coatings succeed or fail. A premium product has some margin to survive a mediocre surface; a budget one does not. This stage is not where to save.
Remove all loose, flaking, and chalking material. A chalked surface will not hold a new coating regardless of what goes on top — brush down thoroughly and check by hand before proceeding. Wash off dust, salt deposits, and atmospheric grime, then allow to dry fully.

Clean equipment with water immediately after use.
