Surface Preparation & Application
The surface must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, loose material, and flaking paint. New plaster must cure fully before priming. This is the most common shortcut on Karachi construction sites, and a frequent cause of coating failure.
Fill cracks and uneven areas with putty, let it dry, and sand smooth. Ekotint recommends its Wall Putty to smooth surfaces before the primer. Remove all sanding dust before priming, and wipe down rather than brushing off.
Stir well before use and apply by brush or roller, following the thinning and coat guidance printed on the pack. Allow the recommended drying time before topcoating. Clean your tools straight after use.
Completing Your Ekotint System
