Surface Preparation & Application
Berger says to apply Duxbak in dry weather, since it needs about 16 hours to cure. If the surface gets wet during that time, the treatment may not work as well. Plan the job around a dry spell.
Berger’s method is to flood the surface with a wide brush so the repellent runs down about 12 inches. This ensures good penetration into the masonry. Berger also says the product can be applied by conventional spray at the lowest possible pressure.
