Wallman Matt Emulsion — Matte Finish Interior Paint in Karachi
Wallman Matt Emulsion is a smooth, matte-finish interior paint from Wallman Paints, a Pakistani manufacturer based in Karachi since 1983. Available at Saify Paint House, your authorized Wallman Paints dealer in Karachi, it offers good coverage with a clean, non-reflective surface.
Formulated for walls and ceilings, it is the step-up option within Wallman’s interior range — a dependable matte finish for rooms where appearance carries a little more weight than on a purely budget repaint.
Why Matt Is the Default Choice for Most Rooms
Matt finishes absorb light rather than reflecting it, which means they conceal minor wall irregularities instead of drawing attention to them. On plastered walls finished by hand — the norm across Karachi construction — that forgiveness genuinely matters. A sheen finish on the same wall would highlight every small undulation under side light; matt reads the surface as flat and even.
That practical benefit is part of why matt has become the standard choice for contemporary interiors generally, not just in premium ranges. It suits a wider variety of rooms and lighting conditions than gloss or sheen finishes, without demanding the same level of wall preparation.
Within the Wallman range, Matt Emulsion sits above Plastic Emulsion as the better-finish option — still an accessible, locally manufactured product, but formulated to deliver a cleaner, more even matte surface where that extra polish is worth the modest difference in cost.
For volume work where budget leads entirely — rental turnarounds, large developments, secondary rooms — Plastic Emulsion remains the more economical specification. Matt Emulsion is the right call where the room is lived in or looked at more closely.

Surface Preparation & Application
The surface must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, loose material, and old flaking paint. New plaster must cure fully before painting.
Fill cracks and surface defects with Wallman Wall Filling Putty and sand smooth once dry.
Seal bare and porous surfaces before painting to control absorption — unsealed plaster absorbs the first coat unevenly, which shows as patchy colour on a matte finish more readily than on a textured or sheen surface. Wallman Water Base Primer is the matching product within the range.
Stir thoroughly before use. Apply by brush, roller, or spray, thinning with clean water as directed on the pack. Two coats give the best coverage and uniformity — allow the first to dry completely before the second. Clean equipment with water immediately after use.
