Berger All-Rounder Matt Enamel — Matt Enamel for Wood and Metal in Karachi
Berger All-Rounder Matt Enamel is a matt enamel from Berger Paints. Available at Saify Paint House, an official Berger Paints stockist in DHA Karachi, it gives wood and metal a smooth, non-reflective finish.
Berger describes it as a high quality paint especially formulated to give a smooth matt finish. Berger says it is particularly appropriate for areas that need continuous maintenance, and its product listing describes a tough, easy-to-clean finish.
Why Choose a Matt Enamel
A matt finish reflects very little light, so it suits furniture, doors, and surfaces that you do not want to look shiny. Berger’s Karachi listing notes that the matt finish helps reduce glare, which makes it a good fit for busy interiors.
Matt does not hide a badly prepared surface. Fill, sand, and clean the surface before you paint, and the finished look will be even.

Surface Preparation & Application
Berger’s guidance is to remove all dust before you apply the paint. Remove loose or flaking paint by scraping, and sand the surface where needed. Make sure the surface is dry and free from grease.
Berger’s product page does not name a primer for this enamel. Check the tin, and ask our team which primer suits your surface, whether it is wood, metal, or plaster.
Berger says it can be applied by brush, roller, or spray. The final coat can be thinned slightly for better levelling and appearance, as Berger advises. Berger states the paint dries within 2 to 3 hours. Follow the pack for recoat times.
Common Mistakes With Matt Enamel
The most common mistake is skipping the dust removal step. Dust trapped under the paint shows up as a rough, uneven surface, especially on a matt finish.
Thinning too much is another. Berger advises a slight thinning of the final coat only, so thin the first coat as the pack directs and avoid stretching the paint with extra water or thinner. Overbrushing a coat that has begun to set leaves visible marks, so brush out each area and move on.
Mineral turpentine and white spirit are flammable. Keep them away from heat and naked flames, and work in a well-ventilated space.
Care and Cleaning
Let the paint cure fully before cleaning it. Berger describes the finish as tough and easy to clean. Wipe marks with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, avoid abrasive pads, and deal with marks early before they dry in.
Choosing Between Berger Enamels
Saify Paint House stocks several Berger enamels. All-Rounder Matt Enamel is the matt option for wood and metal. For a gloss finish, ask about Berger VIP Super Gloss Enamel or Berger NU Enamel. For a faster-drying gloss with one-coat coverage, ask about Berger VIP Super Gloss 1 Coat Enamel. For matt walls and ceilings, ask about our Berger interior emulsions. Visit our Berger Paints range to compare them.
Planning Your Project
Measure the surface area and use Berger’s coverage figure to estimate how much enamel you need. Include primer and thinner in your list. Buy enough for the whole job at once, because shades can vary between batches.
