Phenolic Lining is a high-performance, epoxy-modified coating formulated for internal drum protection in industrial environments. It provides an extremely hard, chemically resistant film that withstands exposure to solvents, pesticides, detergents, and corrosive agents.
Available in clear, red oxide, and yellow finishes, this semi-gloss lining is applied in two coats and cures fully within 48 hours at 20°C. It offers a theoretical coverage of 8 m²/Ltr/coat at 50 microns and supports application via stoving, conventional spray, air-mix, and airless spray systems.
The product features a pot life of 2 hours when mixed and requires a special epoxy thinner for dilution and cleanup. With a dry film thickness of up to 125 microns and a shelf life of 6 months, it is ideal for steel drums, pails, and containers used in the transport and storage of chemicals, solvents, and industrial liquids.
Surface preparation must ensure a clean, dry, oil-free substrate with no contaminants. Adequate ventilation is essential during application and curing, especially in confined spaces. Safety precautions include respiratory protection and avoidance of skin or eye contact.
