Surface Preparation & Application

The surface must be clean, dry, fully cured, and free from dirt, dust, loose particles, oil, grease, and chemical contamination including curing agents and form release agents. Remove loose particles, sharp edges, and nibs by abrading with sandpaper, rubbing stone, or a stiff bristle brush, then remove all accumulated dust.
Treat fungal and algal growth before coating — painting over it traps the problem and it returns through the new film within a season.
New concrete and render must cure fully. Cement releases alkalinity most aggressively during initial cure, and coating too early risks saponification and adhesion failure.

Stir thoroughly before use. Apply by roller or spray, using a brush for corners and edges, thinning with clean water as directed on the pack.
