Heat Resistant Paint is a high-performance, alkyd-modified coating formulated for metal surfaces exposed to elevated temperatures. Withstanding heat up to 193°C (380°F), this glossy finish is ideal for steel structures, machinery, exhaust systems, and industrial ovens.
Available in silver, black, red, and mid-blue (custom shades on request), the coating meets ISO 12944-2 C1 and C2 standards for corrosion protection in low-risk environments. It offers excellent brilliancy and appearance, especially when applied via spray systems.
The product features a volume solids content of 47±2% and a VOC level of approximately 417 g/L. Recommended dry film thickness is 25 microns for silver and 40 microns for other colors, with theoretical coverage ranging from 10.0 to 18.8 m²/Ltr/coat depending on shade.
Touch dry time is 2–4 hours depending on ambient temperature, and a minimum drying period of 3 days at 20°C is required before heat exposure. Application methods include airless spray, air spray, brush, and roller. Thinner 20-05 is recommended for air spray and cleaning.
Surface preparation should ensure a dry, contaminant-free substrate with a temperature at least 3°C above the dew point. Adequate ventilation is essential during application and curing.
