PU Polyurethane Floor Coating (Comobel PU424F) is a premium-grade, two-pack aliphatic polyurethane system engineered for high-traffic and chemically aggressive environments. With excellent gloss retention and abrasion resistance, it is ideal for industrial floors, workshops, food processing zones, and marine structures.
This solvent-based coating is unaffected by salt water, oils, fats, and most industrial chemicals. It can be applied over GCI Comexs PU primers and used as a thin floor coat in demanding indoor and outdoor applications. Available in a limited color range with a high-gloss finish, it features a volume solids content of 60±2% and a theoretical coverage of 11–12 m²/Ltr/coat at 40 microns DFT.
Touch dry in 2–3 hours depending on temperature, with full cure in 5 days at 20°C. Recoat intervals range from 8 hours to 5 days. Application methods include brush, roller, conventional spray, and airless spray. The product is packaged in 5L and 1.25L kits and requires GCI Comexs PU Thinner for dilution and cleanup.
PU Polyurethane Floor Coating surface preparation must meet Sa 2.5 blasting standards with a maximum profile of 100 microns. Safety precautions include respiratory protection due to crystalline silica content and proper ventilation during application and sanding.
